Duatic

Duatic builds Alpha, the Alphine Humanoid Assistant. Alpha is a rolling, human-like robot that specialises in automating the lifting and transport of materials in companies. Duatic has been using the property for interim use since 1 June 2025.

Cousu Atelier Stoffe and Design by Susanne Courage

Susanne has realised her dream of having her own studio for fabrics and design in the premises of Projekt Interim. She offers a small, select range of fabrics and creates small collections.

buch-secondhand.ch by Timon Roth

Timon Roth has been collecting books and other items found on the street for several years. Due to a lack of space in his own flat, Timon Roth began selling books via Ricardo around two and a half years ago. In winter, he came up with the idea of creating his own website for the sale (buch-secondhand.ch).

The Beauty Family is a family from Ukraine that has been offering hair extensions for 7 years. Their hair extension technique is unique.

Bağlama in Birsfelden

The Kökel Music School is run by Mustafa Kökel. Mustafa Kökel is the founder of the music school and teaches Bağlama. He also offers guitar, singing and keyboard lessons. The Kökel Music School has been using the interim use since 1 April 2023.

Artist Sibel Kocakaya

Sibel Kocakaya is an interdisciplinary artist. She works with various media such as painting, photography, video, installation and performance. She has been using the temporary space at Röschenzerstrasse 7 since 1 January 2024.

Art studio of Pius Morger

The studio is located in a listed industrial building from the 19th century. Many creative people work here, which offers the opportunity for an inspiring exchange. Pius Morger has been using this interim use since 14 September 2014.

Anahit Paintings Com is the studio of Anahit, an artist whose work explores themes of empowerment, diversity and the beauty of the human experience.

Where history meets ideas – Projekt Interim in Wetzikon

The historic Schönau site in Wetzikon is now being utilised by Projekt Interim as a lively place for art, culture and small businesses. Where spindles once clattered, studios, rehearsal rooms and creative encounters are now being created. Until the planned site development, the area will remain a space full of history and new ideas.

Temporary use in Meyrin: Flexible working environments close to the airport

Since September 2022, Projekt Interim Romandie SA has been using a spacious office building in Geneva for a variety of temporary uses. Flexible workspaces for companies, creative professionals and start-ups are being created on 10,000 m² – in the centre of Geneva’s lively business district and just a few minutes from the airport.

New life on nine floors – Mollstrasse 1, Berlin

The former administration building at Mollstrasse 1, formerly the headquarters of the GDR news agency and later Zalando headquarters, is now being successfully utilised by Projekt Interim. Around 15,000 m² of versatile space has been created for creative professionals, companies and events. The temporary use promotes Berlin’s creative scene and shows how urban vacancies can be utilised in a meaningful and lively way.

Interim project revitalises the Krone: Pop-up hotel in the heart of Zurich

In the centre of Zurich’s old town, Projekt Interim has transformed the traditional Hotel Krone into a charming pop-up hotel. Since the end of 2019, it has been offering 26 stylish rooms in a historic setting as an interim use – central, creative and still successfully in operation today.

From structural shell to temporary use, Dreikönigstrasse 7, Zurich

Situated in the best location at Dreikönigstrasse 7, Projekt Interim transformed a raw building into flexible, fully licensed workspaces in a short space of time and with a minimum of effort. Temporary use offered creative people and entrepreneurs advantageous conditions – and the owner a clever solution to empty premises.

Shop from bold matters in Thalwil

bold matters is a Swiss start-up founded in 2021. bold matters designs its own shoe and bag collection here in Switzerland and has them handmade in small family businesses in Italy.

Saving food and reducing food waste

From April to December, The Goods Club pop-up store opened its doors at the intermediate use of the Triemli tram stop and wowed customers with an exciting selection of food products. The shop was more than just a shop: it was a place for sustainability, innovation and awareness-raising.
