This privacy policy of Projekt Interim GmbH, Mittelstrasse 14, 8008 Zurich (hereinafter “Project Interim” or “we”) informs you about how we handle your personal data and how we process it. We come into possession of such data when you visit our website, when you apply for or participate in our interim uses or when you otherwise cooperate with us. We are responsible for ensuring that we comply with all applicable laws and regulations and, in particular, with the requirements of data protection law for the processing of your personal data.
“Personal data” refers to any individual information relating to the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This entails information which is personally assigned to you and which can provide certain details about you. In these data protection provisions, the phrase “your data” is also used for this purpose. 1) Scope and purpose of the processing of personal data
a) When visiting our website
If you use our digital offers without providing any further information, our web server technology automatically collects general technical visit details in so-called log files. This includes, among other information, the IP address of the device from which you are visiting our website, information about the browser type, the Internet service provider and the operating system used, which pages of our website and which digital offers you access from us, as well as the time and duration of your visit.
We collect and process this information in order to enable the rapid and trouble-free use of our websites (connection setup), to guarantee and increase the security and stability of our systems and offers, to analyse the use of our offers and services, to collect general demographic information, to optimise our offer, to improve our customer service and for internal statistical purposes. A personal identification of the user does not occur. Likewise, no link can be established between this automatically collected information and personal data stored by us.
In addition, we use cookies and analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics and Lead Forensics) when visiting our website. Please refer to section 7 and section 8 of these data protection provisions.
b) When registering for our newsletter
If you want to receive our newsletter with information about new interim use projects and other offers and news from Projekt Interim, you have to register for the newsletter via our website. This requires the entry of certain personal data. This involves your

- First and last names; and
- Preferences to the offers contained in the newsletter (type of interim use or search region).
We use this data for the processing and administration of our newsletter. When you complete your registration for the newsletter, you guarantee that the information you enter is correct.
By registering for our newsletter, we have the right to use your e-mail address for our advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. At the end of each newsletter we send you there is a link to unsubscribe at any time.
You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending an e-mail to info@projekt-interim.ch.
c) When applying for an interim use project
For the recording and processing of applications for interim use, it is of course necessary to enter certain personal data. This involves your
- First and last names;
- Address (full postal address, zip code, city, state, country);
- E-mail address;
- Telephone number;
- Date of birth;
- Intended (interim) useful life;
- Information on any projects that you wish to implement as part of the interim use;
- Previous applications to Projekt Interim GmbH;
- Previous interim uses at Projekt Interim GmbH; as well as
- Information from an excerpt of your debt collection register.
In addition to the information marked as mandatory for intermediate users, you may voluntarily enter further personal data (e.g. in comments).
We use the data to select our interim users, to process and administer interim use projects, to check the plausibility of the data entered, i.e. to substantiate, structure the content of, process and amend the contractual relationships concluded with you, and to issue proper invoices.
By submitting your application, you guarantee the correctness of the information you provide.
d) when contacting our website as property owner
If you contact us electronically or by telephone to request a proposal for an interim use project or to entrust us with the organization and management of an interim use, we will rely on your data: First and last names, your address and the address of the interim use object (full postal address, zip code, city) and any other data that we require for the preparation of an offer or the legal structuring, planning and organising of the interim use.
We store all information which we collect or receive in connection with offers or interim uses commissioned by you. We are entitled to use this information for our own marketing and analysis purposes.
2) Use and passing on of data to third parties
By agreeing to this privacy statement, you agree that Projekt Interim may process your personal data for the following purposes:
- for the fulfilment and settlement of contractual or legal obligations
- for information about updates or changes to our projects, services or events as well as for adjustments to our general terms and conditions;
- to combat fraud;
- invoicing;
- for the development and maintenance of customer relations;
- for marketing purposes;
- market research, carrying out analyses and surveys and for statistical purposes;
- to design and improve offers and products in line with demand;
- for the evaluation of user behaviour.
We work together with other companies or individuals or commission other companies and individuals to process and store data. They could thus gain access to your personal data or usage data, but only to the extent necessary for the performance of their tasks or the execution of the contract.
For this purpose, we may pass on the necessary data to transport companies, banks and other service providers. These service providers use your data exclusively for order processing and not for other purposes.
Apart from the passing-on described above, we will only pass on your personal data if you have expressly permitted us to do so, if there is a legal obligation to do so or if this is necessary to enforce our rights (in particular to enforce claims arising from contractual relationships).

We strive to continuously improve our website and make it both more user-friendly and safer.

4) Right of access, rectification, cancellation or appeal
You can assert your data protection rights at any time and request information about whether and which personal data we process about you. We reserve the right to correspond with you in this context in order to prevent abuse.
If our legal or contractual storage obligations (e.g. for billing purposes) require us to retain the personal data, we will also block it after your request to the extent necessary for this purpose.
Furthermore, you have the right to file a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority regarding our data processing. You can do this with the supervisory authority at your place of residence, workplace or the place of the alleged data protection violation.
5) Storage period of your personal data
We will only store your data for as long as is legally permissible and expedient for the organization and execution of our interim use projects. In the case of analyses, we store your data until the analysis has been completed. If we store your data on the basis of a contractual relationship with you or as part of an interim use project, we will store your data for at least as long as the contractual relationship exists or the corresponding interim use project is running and at the latest until the expiry of limitation periods for possible claims or as long as legal or contractual storage obligations exist.
6) Data security
Appropriate technical and organizational security measures help us to protect your personal data stored with us against unintentional, illegal or unauthorized manipulation, deletion, alteration, access, disclosure or use and against partial or complete loss. We continuously adapt our security measures to technological developments. However, we assume no liability for the loss of data or their knowledge and use by third parties.
7) Cookies
Cookies are information files that your web browser automatically stores on your computer’s hard drive when you visit our website. Cookies do not damage your computer’s hard drive and do not transmit any personal data to us.

Our website is linked to functions and systems of third parties, for example by integrating plug-ins of social networks of third parties such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram. As soon as you click on their links, you leave the sphere of influence of Projekt Interim. Projekt Interim does not assume any responsibility for the content or legal status of external websites to which a link exists. The terms of use and data protection of these third parties apply.
If you have a user account with these third parties, it may also be possible for these third parties to measure and evaluate your use of our website. Further personal data such as IP address, personal browser settings and other parameters may be transmitted to these third parties and stored there. You can also access the current privacy policy on our website at any time. We recommend that you consult our data protection declaration regularly in order to keep up to date.
The original data protection declaration is written in German. The English version is only intended to make it easier for non-German-speaking users and customers to understand it. In the event of any dispute regarding the content of the privacy policy, the German text shall prevail.
