Kilims and nomadic textiles

Marlyse was looking for a place to store her beloved kilims and nomadic textiles.

The spacious and beautiful space inspired her to transform it into something special: an inviting showroom in the heart of Zurich, where customers (by appointment only) can discover the pieces in a relaxed atmosphere. The space also serves as her office, as she works as a graphic designer, and a good friend uses it to offer coaching sessions.

The result is a lively place where work, encounters and inspiration come together.

The temporary use has been in place since 1 January 2025.

Her favourite spot in the room is the butterfly chair, which adds a design touch. The large window front makes you feel like you’re floating above the city – calm and relaxed. The large wall cupboard is also particularly practical for storing textiles.
